Our emergency vet quickly diagnosed him with cholangiohepatitis and a partial bile duct obstruction—both serious conditions requiring immediate attention.
To address the bile duct obstruction, our esteemed Specialist in Small Animal Surgery, Dr. Stephen Martin, performed a cholecystectomy, a delicate procedure to remove Snoopy’s gallbladder.
Cholecystectomy is a procedure performed on cats and dogs to treat conditions like gallbladder disease or bile duct obstruction, helping to improve their health and prevent complications.
